It’s more about cutting down and avoiding excessive drinking, as well as cutting back on how often you indulge in alcohol and the types of drinks you consume. This lifestyle has seen a recent surge in popularity due to its goal-oriented approach and the fact that it helps people to maintain their social lives while still cutting down on their drinking.
However, the problem with this “Damp Lifestyle” is that if someone has a dependence on alcohol, they often don’t have the self-control that is needed to carry through with something like this. So, it may not be an option for them.
Another trendy new way to attempt to curb a dependence on alcohol is to engage in fitness challenges that distract your mind from your dependence and try to instead steer you toward healthier, more productive activities.
The idea here is to set achievable goals and then create a plan to reach those goals.
